Dear PDAP Supporters,
The PDAP Board invites you to attend the PDAP Social on November 15, 2016, benefitting the Palmer Drug Abuse Program (PDAP) in celebration of 45 years of service in providing support programs to Houston youth and young adults. Please join us in our continuing efforts to fight youth substance abuse in the Greater Houston area. PDAP thanks Rick and Cecily Burleson for hosting the PDAP Social at their home.
Since 1971, PDAP has provided drug and alcohol prevention, education and recovery services to young people and their families in the Houston and surrounding area. In 2015, PDAP positively affected the lives of over 18,500 adolescents and young adults. Furthermore, families working in conjunction with other intervention treatment programs also are seeking help from PDAP due to our increased sobriety rate achievements and our effectiveness with supporting youth in attaining long-term sobriety. In 2015, the clients PDAP served were able to maintain a 79% sobriety rate.
Our mission, is to be the most effective prevention and recovery program helping young people and families avoid or recover from the devastating effects of drug and alcohol abuse. For 45 years, PDAP continues to be a safe haven where our troubled youth and families can turn to in a time of crisis when dealing with drug and alcohol abuse, and our core program is completely free – no one will ever be turned away due to the inability to pay. It is through the generous support of foundations, companies and individuals that our work continues to be made possible. On behalf of the families and future generations to come, your leadership and support will assist PDAP to continue fulfilling our commitment to the community.
A detailed sponsorship form and other information are in links included with this invitation down below. If you are unable to attend please consider making a donation to help young people in our community.
Together, we can continue to make an impact in the lives of our youth by providing them with the tools and resources they need to lead healthy, sober and productive lives.
